This is a group for anyone that is interested in the myriad of fields related to Information Security. All skill levels are welcome. The goal is to provide quarterly workshops on different topics, and meetings once a month with talks, demos, techniques and advisories that are related to the field of info sec.

Research, discuss and deconstruct exploits at the code level -- maybe even make our own. The objective is to get a code level understanding of how it works and to get a feel for common techniques. An engaged, participatory and fun atmosphere is of utmost importance. Target audience is for the people who aspire to become super l33t established hackers (or something like that). That said, if you are truly l33t and want to share your skillz you are way more than welcome to join/participate.

We are a friendly group creative people who want to start a Makerspace in Marin so that people of all ages and types can come in and learn, play, hack, make, create, and rule the world! We hold meetings at various locations throughout Marin with the intent of sampling a variety of locations and spaces until we find our permanent home.
